Summertime presents insights into the mountains of the Kaunertal Glacier, which in winter remain hidden under a thick blanket of snow. Glacier ice has shaped the mountain world of the Kaunertal Valley over many millions of years. The retreat of the glacier has exposed bizarre and distinctive natural spectacles, which can be experienced along the Glacier Road today. Views of the surrounding 3,00 metre-high peaks are highlights.
