The fascination of glacier ice in summer - your private tour through the crevasse. Not far from the glacier car park, at 2,750 metres above sea level, a V-shaped crevasse in the glacier has been made accessible to visitors at the lower end of the Weißseeferner Glacier. On a guided tour through the crevasse, you will learn interesting facts about glaciers - from how they are formed to what happens as they meld.
Car toll for the dirve up to 2,750 m on the Kaunertal Glacier Road
Private guided tour in July and August, from Monday to Friday, at 9:30 am, 12:30 pm or 2 pm
The Meeting point for eacht time is on the sun terrace of the Weißsee restaurant (2,750 m), the tour last approx. 40 min.
Remember to wear sturdy footwear and adequate sun protection
